A former Essence associate of mine, author Jenyne M. Raines joins me to talk about her book, Beautylicious, The Black Girl’s Guide to the Fabulous Life. Raines, a former associate beauty editor for Essence ought to know, she has written about black style and beauty for more than a decade. Her articles have appeared in Instyle, Vibe, Heart and Soul, Mode and Girl to name a few and she served as a consultant for industry leaders Revlon and Clairol.
